A young partygoer, seemingly over his ex-girlfriend, discovers a mysterious but friendly light that helps him overcome his heartbreak — a musical drama scored entirely by this EP. One track into the record, songwriter Stu Groen died; a year later his brother recovered close to a hundred song sketches from his laptop. The best of them became Island In The Sky. The band's name, Fallstars, stands for "Fallible All-Stars."

hatonrack started as the home studio and label behind 206collab — Flip+Skip, Eno, Shamrock and JPlatnum — who played their first Sydney show in 2002 and pressed their debut, What You Waited Years For, under catalog number HATONRACK001 in 2006. Everything since has stayed on the same imprint: Nick Knowledge's early singles, the 1NF0. collaboration with producer Jacob Giles, 206collab's long-gestating second album, and Fallstars — the film-scored project built from a bandmate's unfinished recordings.
